Pro-Duo offers more than 5.000 products for hair, skin and nails through professional lines such as L'Oréal, Schwarzkopf, Wella, Tigi, as well as an extensive selection exclusive brands such as Phytodess, Osmo, Jean Marin, XP100, Proxelli and Wunderbar.

  • 1999 - Opening of the first Pro-Duo Hair & Beauty store

On April 15, 1999, founder of Pro-Duo Peter Van Speybroeck opens the first Pro-Duo Hair & Beauty store in Belgium (Deinze). Their customers like the concept of unlimited choice and the freedom to buy only what they need.

  • 2000 - Pro-Duo opens 11 stores.

The concept turns out to be a huge success, and 11 new store are opened in the second year of Pro-Duo's existence. All new locations are in Belgium.

  • 2001 - Bienvenue en France

That year Pro-Duo opens up in France. A very clear sign of its international ambition and a path to further growth is created.

  • 2002 - Central warehouses in Belgium and France

Pro-Duo is growing, the product range is increasing, and so central warehouses are needed. Two open, one in Belgium and one in France.

  • 2004 - Pro-Duo celebrates the opening of its 20th Hair & Beauty store.
  • 2008 - Acquisition by Sally Beauty Holdings 

In 2008, Pro-Duo is acquired by the American based Sally Beauty Holdings. Sally is the world's largest distributor of professional beauty supplies and owns and operates more than 3.500 stores worldwide. The acquisition will enable further growth for Pro-Duo, while Sally gains an excellent platform to expand their operations in Europe.

  • 2009 - Pro-Duo shows her ambitions

In Germany, 30 Sally Beauty Supply shops start transforming into Pro-Duo Hair & Beauty stores. In the meantime, Pro-Duo puts its first steps in Spain. Pro-Duo opens a brand new 7000 m² warehouse in Belgium (Ghent) and next to it, its new European headquarters.

  • 2010 - Opening of Pro-Duo's first Category Store

In 2010, Pro-Duo opens its first category store in Belgium – Putte. This new store concept, where products are placed per category and not per brand, proves to be an immediate success! In the same year Pro-Duo also opens its 100th store in Germany - Würselen.

  • 2011 - Acquisition of Kappersservice Floral

In 2011, Pro-Duo acquires the largest distributor of professional hair & beauty products in the Netherlands, Kappersservice Floral. 19 stores and 140 employees join the Pro-Duo group.

  • 2012 - Pro-Duo achieves its 2007 goal

​To be the largest and most qualified distributor of professional products for hairdressers and beauticians in Continental Europe.

  • 2014 – Pro-Duo continues to grow and to open new stores.

Due to the success of the new way of merchandising, almost all stores are transformed into Category stores by now.
